What is Fiskal?
Fiskal is a Malaysian personal tax tool: this website’s free calculators and guides, and a mobile app that tracks your LHDN reliefs through the year, scans your receipts, and keeps them organised per relief, per year — so you arrive at e-Filing with everything ready.
What can the Fiskal app do?
Snap a receipt and Fiskal files it under the right LHDN relief. See your position all year — estimated tax and estimated refund, updating as you go. Every official relief explained in plain language so you never miss one. Your figures laid out box by box in the order MyTax asks. And a 7-year receipt vault, ready if LHDN ever audits — all in English and Bahasa Melayu.
How does the receipt scanning work?
Just snap it — Fiskal reads the receipt on your phone and files it under the right LHDN relief, kept organised per relief and per year. No typing, no spreadsheet.
Will Fiskal help me claim reliefs I didn’t know about?
Yes — every official relief and rebate is in the app, each with its own limit and what counts, explained in plain language. It is hard to miss one.
Can Fiskal estimate my refund?
Yes. Fiskal shows your estimated tax and your estimated refund, updating through the year — not discovered in April. The free PCB calculator on this site does the same check.
I have business or rental income (Form B) — does Fiskal cover me?
Yes. Fiskal supports simple business books (income and expenses), rental worked the HK-4 way, and lays out your Form B figures box by box. Fiskal prepares; you file yourself.
Does Fiskal file my taxes for me?
No — and no app may. Filing happens on LHDN’s MyTax portal, and only a tax agent licensed under Section 153 of the Income Tax Act 1967 can file on your behalf. Fiskal prepares your figures and records — and never asks for your MyTax password.
Is Fiskal free?
The website — calculators, relief guides, articles — is free. The app has a free plan that keeps up to 10 receipts for your reliefs on your phone; paid plans add unlimited receipts, backup and more. The pricing page has the full picture.
Which languages does Fiskal support?
English and Bahasa Melayu, throughout — the website, the app, and every explanation.
Where do Fiskal’s tax figures come from?
Only from official LHDN sources. Every relief cap, rate and rebate carries its source and its Year of Assessment — currently YA 2025 — and when LHDN’s rules change, the figures are updated from the official documents, never from memory.
Is my data safe with Fiskal?
On the app’s free plan your receipts stay on your phone. If you create an account, your data is protected as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can export or delete everything yourself from account settings.
